I thought this would be a good way of advertising for the restaurants weekly trivia nights.  Print it on cheap newsprint/whatever you can get and use it as a placemat.  It will not only inform the customer about an event, but will also give them a little taste of it.  The crossword creates a positive experience for the customer, and may make them feel more of a connection with the event since they put some real effort into it.  Also, people won't admit it, but they love having something to do while they're waiting on their food.  And of course, this is also a way to subtly introduce Moondog THE COMIC!  Characters from the comic could easily be implemented into ads, announcements, and fun fact blurbs.
